Tack measurements are a vital factor in the development and production of printing inks and the media onto which they are transferred.
Measurement of tack helps to isolate some of the factors which influence nip flow and transfer and therefore tack remains to be one of the critical parameters to accurately measure in the formulation and Quality Control of lithographic printing inks.
