Launching of the Lithoscope

It is with pleasure that we can announce the completion of the development of the Lithoscope accessory.

The Lithoscope test procedure is built on the platform of a standard tack meter. With the Lithoscope one can measure the 'water window' for a given ink/fount combination at high speed conditions. The Lithoscope itself is designed as a self contained accessory to a tack meter rather than a completely new expensive stand alone device. This means added value to existing equipment at lower cost!

The test serves as a predictor for fount consumption, emulsification and release capabilities of the ink. The technology is applicable to all kinds of inks; sheetfed, heatset, coldset and UV/EB. Testing of laboratory inks, formulated with different base materials in order to investigate characteristics for transfer, tack and emulsification, is possible as well.
